Meet some of our teachers

Adam Malster

Senior Teacher, Adults

I’ve taught in the UK, Czech Republic and Taiwan and been in Taipei since 1999. After completing my certificate in TESOL in 1996, I completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and have my Master’s degree in Education.

I am here to help you overcome these challenges and start using English to enjoy the world around you, help you reflect on yourself as an English speaker and take charge of the direction of your own learning.

Ewan Campbell

Teacher

I began teaching English in 2009 after I completed my Cert. TESOL. I have worked teaching adults in Vietnam, Malaysia and Myanmar. In Malaysia and Vietnam I was also working with local teachers to help them improve their English. I returned to Taiwan in 2016 and have been teaching MyClass at the British Council ever since. My hobbies include watching films, cooking, playing badminton and reading.

Jack Falconer

Teacher

I’m from London, England and I completed a Trinity TESOL teaching certificate before I left the UK. I arrived in Taiwan in 2005 and I’ve been working for the British Council in Taiwan since 2009, teaching MyClass, IELTS and young learners. When teaching adults I focus on building vocabulary and fluency, and correct errors from observation of extended speaking tasks. I believe that students gain most from producing language rather than passive learning.
